a. Spread the word: Send an email to all your friends informing them about this movement and asking them to spread the word by forwarding the same mail to all their contacts. You can collect a draft/standard email from us and begin the process. You can also SMS all your contacts and build up a hype about the campaign. A standard SMS is available on this website.

b. Data feeding: Once you initiate the process of spreading the word your friends and many others would become interested in joining the movement. Collecting all this data, feeding it and arranging it requires your assistance. Try and lend a hand by contributing few hours in a week for this work. c. On the Internet: If you have more ideas for the city or want to discuss the ones envisioned by us please post your comments on the discussion forum on our website and ask your friends to participate. Also discuss these ideas with your web group.

In your area

a. Organizing street plays: Our street play groups will carry the message of Vote Mumbai effectively in your locality. All you have to do is co-ordinate with them and arrange the time and place. Celebrations like Ganesh Utsavs can be used as ideal platforms to perform and spread the word. For further details on street plays contact Seema: 9833685328

b. Taking up some activities with other volunteers of your areas: You can take up several activities like signature campaigns and distribution of pamphlets in your locality. These activities are crucial to the campaigns success. You must also try and enrol as many like-minded citizens to the cause. You can either print out your copy of the signature booklet from the website or collect them from the Lok Satta Movement office, Byculla (East).  

c. Fixing Presentations: You can try and fix up a presentation for your locality. All you have to do is arrange for a venue and a group of about 30 people. Our presenters will come and discuss this idea with you. For information contact the Lok Satta Movement office: 23772242/84

In the city

a. Participate in street plays: Our vibrant group of artists would love involve you in their street play group. You can participate in or gather a group to participate in this activity. Our volunteers will be glad to train you or your the group. For further details on street plays contact Seema: 9833685328

b. Join the Core Committee: You can join the think tank of the movement for strategic and serious activities by participating in core group meetings. If you find it compelling or can add value to it please join us on Saturdays at the Lok Satta Movement office, Byculla (East). 

Vote Mumbai is open to any new idea that can positively affect the cause. We already have a team of committed volunteers. Please visit us at our office for an inspiring experience where men and women get together, forgetting their differences, to attend to the call of a dying city.
